Butter Chicken
Ingredients for Butter Chicken:
  • Tandoori Chicken - 1 no's
  • Butter 2 tablespoon
  • Cream - 1/4 cup
  • Onion - 1 no's grated
  • Ginger-Garlic paste - 1 teaspoon each
  • Tomato puree - 1/4 cup
  • Red chilli powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Green chillies - 2 no's chopped
  • Coriander leaves - 2 tablespoon chopped
  • salt to taste

Method for Butter Chicken:

  • Heat butter in a pan,add the grated onions and fry until golden brown.
  • Add the ginger & garlic pastes,fry for a minute and add the tomato puree.
  • Add the green chillies, coriander leaves, salt and chilli powder and fry.
  • Turn heat to low and add the cream stirring constantly ,make sure that it should not boil.
  • Cook for a minute and turn off the heat,butter chicken sauce is ready.
  • Cut the tandoori chicken into 6 pieces and arrange in an oven proof dish.
  • Pour the butter chicken sauce on it.
  • Heat in a preheated oven at 180C/350F for 20 minutes.
  • Enjoy hot Butter Chicken.
