Chutney Recipes

Ingredients Sweet Mango Chutney:
- Green mangoes (Kacche Aam) - 1/4 Kg
- Red chilies (Lal mirch) - 2 no's chopped
- Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon
- Sugar (Chini) - 1 cup
- Vinegar (Sirka) - 1 cup
- Ginger (Adrak) - 1 inch. grated
- Dates (Khajoor) - 1/2 cup chopped
Method Sweet Mango Chutney:
- Peel the green mangoes,chop into large slices and sprinkle with salt.
- Blend the garam masala with the sugar and place in a large pan with vinegar.
- Bring to the boil and reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add mango, chili, ginger and dates.
- Simmer until the mango is tender.
- Let it cool and pour in a clean jar and cork tightly.
- Store in the refrigerator.
- Enjoy Sweet Mango Chutney with roti/chapati.
