Ingredients for Onion Chutney:
- Onions (Piyaz) - 1 no's
- Green chillies (Hari mirch) - 2 no's
- Red Chillies (Lal mirch) - 2 no's
- Mustard seeds (Sarson) - 1 teaspoon
- Urad dal - 2 teaspoon
- Tamarind (Imli) - 1 piece
- Brown sugar (Shakkar) - 1 teaspoon
- Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Salt to taste
Method for Onion Chutney:
- Wash the onion and chop the it coraesly.
- Heat oil in a pan and add Half of urad dal and chillies.
- Fry for a minute and add the Onions & salt.
- Fry till all the ingredients gets mixed.
- Let it cool and add the tamarind,brown sugar ,grind to fine paste.
- Season it with the remaining urad dal , mustard seeds in oil.
- Enjoy Onion Chutney with hot dosas or rice.
