Ingredients for Choliya Curry:
- Choliya/ Green Bengal Lentils - 1 cup
- Potato - 2 no's
- Onion - 1 no
- Tomato - 2 no's
- Green Chilly Paste - 1/2 teaspoon
- Termeric powder - 1/4 teaspoon
- Red chilly powder - 1/4 teaspoon
- kitchen king masala - 1/2 teaspoon
- Garam masala - 1/4 teaspoon
- Cumin Seeds (Jeera) - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt to taste
- Vegetable Oil - 2 tablespoon
Method for Choliya Curry:
- Peel and cut the potatoes in cubes.
- Make paste of Choliya , Onion and tomato separately.
- Heat ol in pan add jeera , let them splutter then add onion paste along with chilly paste.
- Fry till it is golden brown , then add tomato paste and cook untill it leaves oil.
