Ingredients for Beatroot Raita:
- Beetroot - 1 no
- Curd (Yogurt) - 1 cup
- Green Chilli (Chopped) - 1 no
- Vegetable Oil - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin Powder (Jeera) - 1/2 teaspoon
- Sugar - 1 teaspoon
- Black mustard seed - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black salt to taste
- Coriander leaves for garnishing
Method for Beatroot Raita:
- Beat the curd in a bowl , add salt , cumin powder and sugar to it.
- Boil beatroot , peel the skin , grate it and mix it with above curd.
- Heat oil in a pan , add mustard seeds and green chilli to it , let them splutter.
- Remove from the fire and pour into the curd and beatroot mixture.
- Garnish Beatroot Raita with chopped coriander leaves and enjoy with parathas.
