Ingredients for Carrot Raita:
- Carrot (Grated) - 1/2 Cup
- Curd (Yogurt) - 1/4 Kg
- Cumin Seeds (Roasted) - 1/2 teaspoon
- Mustard Seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
- Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
- Black Pepper powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black Salt to taste
- Coriander leaves to garnish
Method for Carrot Raita:
- Crush the roasted cumin seeds and beat the curd with little water .
- Mix above cumin powder , black salt , pepper and grated carrot well in the curd .
- Heat oil in pan and add mustard seeds untill they splutter and turn it into the curd .
- Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve chilled with stuffed veg parathas .
