Ingredients for Shengdana Chikki:
- Groundnuts (Moongfali) - 1 cup skinned, roasted
- Jaggery (Gud) - 3/4 cup
- Clarified butter (Ghee) - 2 tablespoon
Method for Shengdana Chikki:
- Heat jaggery in 1/2 cup water till the syrup is hard ball consistency.
- Test its consistency by putting a drop in cold water -it should remain firm.
- Add groundnuts, mix well and grease a board and spread the above mixture.
- Roll flat to 1 cm thickness and cut into squares when sufficiently cool and hardened.
