Ingredients for Kasundi:
- Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Mustard seeds (Rai) - 1/2 teaspoon
- Slivered garlic (Lehsun) - 2 cloves
- Turmeric powdec (Haldi) - 1/2 teaspoon
- Red chilli pepper (Lal mirch) - 1/2 teaspoon
- Tomatoes (Tamatar) - 4 no's chopped
- White vinegar (Safed sirka) - 2 tablespoon
- Salt to taste
Method for Kasundi:
- Heat oil in pan over medium-high heat.
- Add mustard and garlic, cook, stirring, until mixture starts to brown.
- Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, salt and chopped tomatoes.
- Stir well and cook for 2 minutes, add vinegar and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat, cover, and simmer until thick, about 10 minutes.
- Pour Kasundi into clean jars and seal.
