Ingredients for Cheese Pasta:
- Pasta - 1 packet straight
- Cheese - 1 cup grated
- Mushrooms - 1 cup chopped
- Milk - 1 cup
- Cream - 3/4 cup
- Onion - 1 no's sliced
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Cornflour - 2 teaspoon
- Chilly sauce - 2 teaspoon
- Oil - 2 tablespoon
- Salt to taste
Method for Cheese Pasta:
- Boil water and add pasta and 1/2 teaspoon of oil, cook for 5 minutes.
- Strain through cold water 2 -3 times and drain water and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a pan and add sliced onions and stir fry for few seconds, add mushrooms and stir fry for 2 minutes.
- Add the milk and when it too gets heated, add the cream, do not let the cream boil.
- Add the cornflour dissolved in a little milk, gently stir the sauce so that consistency is smooth.
- Remove from flame and add salt and black pepper along with 1/4 of the grated cheese and chilly sauce and mix well.
- In a baking dish, spread a layer of the sauce at the bottom, then add a layer of the cheese and then a layer of pasta.
- Repeat this sequence once more, then add another layer of sauce at the top and make the final covering with cheese.
- Bake in oven at 250 degrees C for 25 minutes till the cheese gets melted and the top is golden.
- Enjoy hot Cheese Pasta with vegetable soup.
