Ingredients for Matar Chaat:
- Dried yellow vatana - 1/4 Kg
- Ginger - 1 inch piece
- Green chillies - 4 no's
- Potatoes - 3 no's
- salt to taste
- Ingredients for chaat masala:
- Roasted jeera powder - 1 teaspoon
- Black salt powder - 1 teaspoon
- Red chilli powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Amchur powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt to taste
Method for Matar Chaat:
- Wash and soak vatana overnight.
- Boil vatana in enough water with salt, ginger, chilli green till the vatana is tender.
- Drain and add boiled & chopped potatoes and chaat masala.
