Ingredients for French Fries:
Potatoes - 1/4 Kg
oil for deep frying
Salt to taste
Method for French Fries:
Peel , wash and cut the potatoes into strips of 1/2-inch thickness .
Soak potatoes in cold and salty water for 1 hour , drain well and pat dry with paper towels.
Heat oil in deep frying pan and fry potato strip until golden brown and tender, drain on paper towels.
Enjoy hot
French Fries
with tomato ketchup or mint/coriander chutney.
