Aloo Bonda
Ingredients for Aloo Bonda:
  • Potatoes - 1/4 Kg
  • Green Chilies  - 2 no's
  • Coriander leaves - A bunch
  • Gram flour - 1 cup
  • Red chili powder  - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Garam Masala powder - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Oil - 2 cup,for frying
  • Salt to taste
Method for Aloo Bonda:
  • Wash the potatoes , boil  and mash them properly.
  • Add salt, chili powder, garam masala, coriander, and green chilies and mix well.
  • In a seperate bowl take a cup of gram flour, add little salt and chili powder to it.
  • Add little water bit by bit and mixing with hand make a batter not too thick.
  • Make small balls of potato mixture, dip in batter and deep fry till golden brown.
  • Enjoy Aloo Bonda hot with mint chutney or tomato sauce.
