Mutton Fry
Ingredients for Mutton Fry:
  • Mutton - 1/2 Kg
  • Cinnamon - 2  sticks
  • Cloves - 4 no's
  • Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Red chilly powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper powder  - 1 teaspoon
  • Ginger - 1 inch piece
  • Garlic - 6 cloves
  • Spring onions - 5 no's
  • Coconut oil - 2 tablespoon
  • Onion - 1 no's
  • Green chillies - 2 no's
  • Salt to taste
Method for Mutton Fry:
  • Grind all the ingredients except mutton into a paste and add salt.
  • Mix this paste with mutton and place it in a pressure cooker.
  • Add coconut oil and pressure cook for 4 whistles to come.
  • Remove the lid and cook on low flame 10 minutes uncovered till dry.
  • Heat oil in a pan and fry the mutton pieces in oil.
  • In another pan fry onions and green chillies till dark brown in color.
  • Add the above mixture to the fried mutton and mix well.
  • Enjoy hot Mutton Fry.
