Ingredients for Mutton Korma:
- Mutton - 1/2 kg
- Turnip (Shalgam) - 1/4 Kg
- Tomato (Tamatar) - 3 no's
- Onions (Piyaz) - 3 no's
- Green chilly (Hari mirch) - 3 no's
- Garlic (Lehsun) - 2 cloves
- Ginger (Adrak) - 1 inch piece
- Coconut (Nariyal) - 1/2 cup grated
- Tamarind pulp (Imli ka guda) - 1 teaspoon
- Mint leaves (Pudina patte) - A bunch
- Red chilly powder (Lal mirch) - 1 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder (Haldi) - 1/2 teaspoon
- Coriander powder (Dhaniya) - 2 teaspoon
- Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Salt to taste
Method for Mutton Korma:
- In a pressure cooker, add oil and fry mint leaves.
- Add the chopped onions, tomato, ginger, garlic, green chilly and fry.
- Add turmeric power, red chilly powder, and coriander powder and fry well.
- Add meat pieces and turnip with salt and water and close the pressure cooker lid.
- Allow it to cook for 3 whistles, remove from fire and leave to release pressure itself.
- Mix the grated coconut and a teaspoon of tamarind pulp and add the salt.
- Enjoy hot Mutton Korma with roti and rice.
