Rasmalai
Ingredients for Rasmalai:
  • Paneer - 1/4 kg
  • Sugar - 1/2  kg
  • Milk - 1 Litre
  • Cardomom Powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Almonds - 2 teaspoon
  • Pistachios - 2 teaspoon
  • Saffron - A few strands
Method for Rasmalai:
  • Put  1/4 Kg sugar and water to boil.
  • Take another pan to boil milk and rest of the sugar.
  • Boil milk till it reduced to half, add cardamom, sliced nuts and saffron, well dissolved.
  • Make balls of paneer and flatten to patties and gently let into the boiling water.
  • Cover with a perforated or partially covered lid and boil for 15 minutes.
  • Gently remove each rasmalai, drain water and transfer to boiled milk.
  • Allow to boil for 5 minutes, remove from fire, cool to room temperature.
  • Refrigerate for 5-6 hours before serving.
  • Enjoy chilled Rasmalai.
