Ingredients for Rasmalai:
- Paneer - 1/4 kg
- Sugar - 1/2 kg
- Milk - 1 Litre
- Cardomom Powder - 1/2 tsp
- Almonds - 2 teaspoon
- Pistachios - 2 teaspoon
- Saffron - A few strands
Method for Rasmalai:
- Put 1/4 Kg sugar and water to boil.
- Take another pan to boil milk and rest of the sugar.
- Boil milk till it reduced to half, add cardamom, sliced nuts and saffron, well dissolved.
- Make balls of paneer and flatten to patties and gently let into the boiling water.
- Cover with a perforated or partially covered lid and boil for 15 minutes.
- Gently remove each rasmalai, drain water and transfer to boiled milk.
- Allow to boil for 5 minutes, remove from fire, cool to room temperature.
- Refrigerate for 5-6 hours before serving.
- Enjoy chilled Rasmalai.
