Ingredients for Gulab Jamun:
- Bisquick - 1 cup
- Carnation Powder - 2cup
- Water - 2cup
- Sugar - 2 cups
- Cardamom - 3 no's
- Butter - 4 tablespoon
- RoseWater - 5 drops
- Curd/Yogurt - 2 tablespoon
- Milk - 1/2cup
- Oil for deep frying
Method for Gulab Jamun:
- Heat butte, add bisquick, carnation powder and curd/yogurt and mix well.
- Knead well to make a smooth dough , cover and let it rest for around half an hour.
- Divide the dough into 15 parts round shape like small ball .
- For sugar syrup boil the water and sugar, add cardamom and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Heat the oil until hot and fry the balls to a golden brown or until they are dark brown.
- Soak the fried balls into hot sugar syrup for a few hours until they double in size.
- Enjoy Gulab Jamun hot or cold.
