Coconut Burfi
Ingredients for Coconut Burfi:
  • Khoya - 1/4 Kg
  • Coconut - 1/4 Kg
  • Sugar - 1/2 Kg
  • Cardamom - 3 no's crushed
  • Ghee - 1 tablespoon
  • Water - 2 cup
  • Almonds - 4 no's crushed
  • Pistachios - 4 no's crushed
Method for Coconut Burfi:
  • Grate and grind the coconut.
  • Mix khoya, cardamom and coconut and fry them lightly with ghee on a low heat.
  • Heat sugar with water to make sugar syrup of one string consistency.
  • Now stir the coconut mixture into the hot sugar syrup.
  • Grease the plate and spread the prepared mixture evenly over the plate .
  • Spinkle the crushed almonds and pistachios on it and allow it to cool.
  • Now with the knife, cut Coconut Burfi in to desired shapes.
