Ingredients for Coconut Burfi:
- Khoya - 1/4 Kg
- Coconut - 1/4 Kg
- Sugar - 1/2 Kg
- Cardamom - 3 no's crushed
- Ghee - 1 tablespoon
- Water - 2 cup
- Almonds - 4 no's crushed
- Pistachios - 4 no's crushed
Method for Coconut Burfi:
- Grate and grind the coconut.
- Mix khoya, cardamom and coconut and fry them lightly with ghee on a low heat.
- Heat sugar with water to make sugar syrup of one string consistency.
- Now stir the coconut mixture into the hot sugar syrup.
- Grease the plate and spread the prepared mixture evenly over the plate .
- Spinkle the crushed almonds and pistachios on it and allow it to cool.
- Now with the knife, cut Coconut Burfi in to desired shapes.
