Ingredients for Besan Burfi:
- Gram flour (Besan) - 1/2 kg
- Sugar - 1/2 kg
- Ghee - 1/2 kg
- Water - 1 cup
- Pistachios - 1 tablespoon crushed
- Almonds - 2 tablespoon crushed
- Silver varakh
Method for Besan Burfi:
- Fry gram flour (besan) in ghee on low flame till it becomes little dark and ghee separates.
- Make sugar syrup by boiling sugar and water and add it to fried beasan and mix well .
- Gently pour this mixture into a greased tray , top with pistas, almonds and silver varakh.
- Let it cool, cut Besan Burfi shapes (cubes or squares or diamond) as desired.
