Ingredients for Badam Kheer:
- Almonds(Badam) - 1cup
- Milk - 1/2 litre
- Sugar - 1 cup
- Saffron(Kesar) - 3 strands
Method for Badam Kheer:
- Soak saffron in little cold milk , and keep aside.
- Soak almonds in hot water for an hour or more.
- Remove skin and grind the almond in to a paste with milk .
- Cook the almond paste for 10 minutes stirring it constantly.
- Add sugar and keep stirring , then add the remaining milk
- Boil for another 20 minutes till the the milk thicken a little.
- Add the soaked saffron and enjoy Badam Kheer hot or cold accordingly.
