Egg Recipes

Ingredients for Egg Biryani:
- Basmati rice -2 cups
- Eggs - 6 no's hard boiled
- Ghee/oil - 1/2 cup
- Onion - 2 no's chopped
- Garlic - 4 cloves chopped
- Bay leaves - 2 no's
- Cinnamon - 1 stick
- Cardamom - 1 (Brown)
- Cardamom pods - 3 no's
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Red chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Garam masala powder - 1 teaspoon
- Coriander leaves - 1 tablespoon
- Salt To Taste
Method for Egg Biryani:
- Wash the basmati rice and soak in water for 30 minutes.
- Heat the ghee/oil in a deep sauce pan and fry onions and garlic together with the bay leaves, cinnamon and cardamoms, until golden.
- Carefully prick the eggs with a fork and add to the pan.
- Stir in turmeric, chili powder and fry .
- Add soaked rice and stir slowly and carefully for 5 minutes.
- Pour in water and salt , and cook over a medium heat until the rice is tender and water is absorbed.
- Sprinkle garam masala powder over it.
- Garnish Egg Biryani with chopped coriander leaves.
