Ingredients for Paneer Shimla mirch (Cottage-Cheese Capsicum):

Paneer (cottage cheese) - 1/4 Kg

Shimla Mirch ( Capsicum) - 2 no's

Oil/Butter - 2 tablespoon
-
Onion - 2 Sliced
-
Tomatoes - 2 Chopped
-
Tomatoes puree - 2 tablespoon
-
Yoghurt - 2 tablespoon
-
Ginger-Garlic paste 1 tablespoon
-
Green chillies - 2 Chopped
-
Cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
-
Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
-
Red chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon
-
Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
-
Salt to taste
-
Coriander leaves - A bunch
Method for Paneer Shimla mirch (Cottage-Cheese Capsicum):

Heat the oil in a heavy bottomed pan, add cumin seeds and let them splatter.

Add chopped green chillies and sliced onions, fry till onions start to brown, then add ginger-garlic paste.

Add tomatoes, cook till tomatoes tenderize and start to pulp.

Remove from the fire, add the yogurt, mix well and put back on the fire.

Add the coriander powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder and cook till the spices blend in.

Add tomato puree and salt and cook for a few minutes till sauce thickens.

Add the Shimla Mirch (Capsicum) and cook for 5 minutes, then add paneer cubes and cook for another 5 minutes .

Garnish with coriander leaves .
