Curd Rice
Ingredients for Curd Rice:
  • Basmathi rice  - 2 cups
  • Curd - 2 cups
  • Butter 1 tablespoon
  • Ginger - 1/2  teaspoon Grated
  • Green chillies  - 1 teaspoon chopped
  • Curry leaves - 6 no's
  • Red chilli pods -  4 no's
  • Mustard seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Coriander leaves  - A bunch
  • Salt to taste

Method for Curd Rice:

  • Boil rice in four cups of water.
  • Heat butter in a pan and put mustard seeds let them crackle.
  • Add ginger, green chili pieces, red chili pieces, and curry leaves and stir in low heat.
  • Add cooked rice, salt and curd.
  • Mix well and garnish with coriander leaves.
  • Enjoy Curd Rice with different vegetable curries
