Ingredients for Cucumber Raita:
- Cucumbers - 1/2 Kg
- Curd (Yogurt) - 2 cup
- Cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- 1 tablespoon Salt
Method for Cucumber Raita:
- Grate the cucumbers, squeeze out the access water of cucumber after grating.
- Beat curd in a bowl , add grated cucumber , salt and black pepper, mix well.
- Refrigerate for 1 hour and spinckle roasted and crushed cumin seeds over it.
- Enjoy chilled Cucumber Raita with poories/rice/chapaties.
Note: Do not throw this cucumber water as it can be used in mixing face packs.
