Ingredients for Besan Boondi Raita:
- Curd (yoghurt) - 2 cup
- Gram Flour (Besan) - 1/2 cup
- Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon
- Dry Mint Leaves - 2 tablespoon
- Oil - 3 tablespoon
- Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt to tast
Method for Besan Boondi Raita:
- Mix together the dry mint leaves, red chilli powder, salt and besan.
- Add water to get a dropping consistency batter.
- Heat oil in kadhai ,pour drops of besan batter with a slotted spoon.
- Deep fry till golden brown.
- Add these fried boondies to beaten curd.
- Mix in salt and roasted cumin powder.
- Refrigerate for 1 hour.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
- Enjoy chilled Besan Boondi Raita with Rice/Poories/chapaties.
