Besan Boondi Raita
Ingredients for Besan Boondi Raita:
  • Curd (yoghurt) - 2 cup
  • Gram Flour (Besan) - 1/2 cup
  • Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • Dry Mint Leaves - 2 tablespoon
  • Oil - 3 tablespoon
  • Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt to tast
Method for Besan Boondi Raita:
  • Mix together the dry mint leaves, red chilli powder, salt and besan.
  • Add water to get a dropping consistency batter.
  • Heat oil in kadhai ,pour drops of besan batter with a slotted spoon.
  • Deep fry till golden brown.
  • Add  these fried boondies to beaten curd.
  • Mix in salt and roasted cumin powder.
  • Refrigerate for 1 hour.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
  • Enjoy chilled Besan Boondi Raita with Rice/Poories/chapaties.
