Ingredients for Chocolate Pudding:
- Unsweetened chocolate - 3 squares
- Milk - 2 cup
- Cornstarch - 1/4 cup
- Sugar - 1/2 cup
- Salt - A pinch
- Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
Method for Chocolate Pudding:
- In a saucepan, cook 1 1/2 cups of the milk with chocolate until chocolate is melted and milk is scalded.
- Mix cornstarch, sugar and salt and add the remaining 1/2 cup milk.
- Add to scalded milk and chocolate mixture and cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thickened .
- Continue cooking for about 5 minutes to thoroughly cook corn starch.
- Cool a little and add vanilla and enjoy.
