Paneer Bhurji
Ingredients for Paneer Bhurji:
  • Paneer - 1/4 Kg  (mashed or crumbled)
  • Onions - 2  no's  chopped
  • Ginger-Garlic paste - 1 teaspoon each
  • Green chillies - 2 no's chopped
  • Tomatoes - 2 no's chopped
  • Cashewnuts - 4 no's chopped
  • Capsicum - 1 cut lengthwise
  • Garam masala powder - 1/2 teaspooon
  • Pepper powder - 1/2 teaspooon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspooon
  • Red chilli powder - 1/2 teaspooon
  • Sugar - 1/2 teaspooon
  • Lime juice - 1 teaspooon
  • Butter - 2 tablespoon
  • Salt to taste

Method for Paneer Bhurji:

  • Heat butter in a heavy bottomed pan , add the ginger-garlic paste and fry for a minute.
  • Add the cashewnuts, onions , green chillies and capsicum and stir fry till the onions turn color.
  • Add the tomatoes and keep frying till the tomatoes are done mushy.
  • Add all the spices and fry for a minute.
  • Add meshed or crumbled paneer , salt ,sugar and the lemon juice.
  • Mix well and cook it for 5 minutes.
  • Enjoy Paneer Bhurji with naan or chapathi.
