Paneer Recipes

Ingredients for Paneer Bhurji:
- Paneer - 1/4 Kg (mashed or crumbled)
- Onions - 2 no's chopped
- Ginger-Garlic paste - 1 teaspoon each
- Green chillies - 2 no's chopped
- Tomatoes - 2 no's chopped
- Cashewnuts - 4 no's chopped
- Capsicum - 1 cut lengthwise
- Garam masala powder - 1/2 teaspooon
- Pepper powder - 1/2 teaspooon
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspooon
- Red chilli powder - 1/2 teaspooon
- Sugar - 1/2 teaspooon
- Lime juice - 1 teaspooon
- Butter - 2 tablespoon
- Salt to taste
Method for Paneer Bhurji:
- Heat butter in a heavy bottomed pan , add the ginger-garlic paste and fry for a minute.
- Add the cashewnuts, onions , green chillies and capsicum and stir fry till the onions turn color.
- Add the tomatoes and keep frying till the tomatoes are done mushy.
- Add all the spices and fry for a minute.
- Add meshed or crumbled paneer , salt ,sugar and the lemon juice.
- Mix well and cook it for 5 minutes.
- Enjoy Paneer Bhurji with naan or chapathi.
