Paneer Recipes

Ingredients for Matar Paneer:
- Fresh Green Peas - 1 cup
- Paneer - 2 cups
- Onion - 1 no's
- Tomatoes - 2 no's
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Ginger - 1 inch.
- Turmeric - 1/2 teaspoon
- Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
- Red chilli powder -1/2 teaspoon
- Coriander leaves - A bunch
- Oil - 3 tablespoon
- Salt to taste
Method for Matar Paneer:
- Boil green peas till tender, drain and set aside.
- Blend onion ginger and garlic together into paste.
- Blend tomatoes seperately into a paste.
- Cut the paneer into 1 inch. cubes and fry them in hot oil until they turn golden brown ,remove from the pan and keep aside.
- Fry onion paste until golden brown, stir in tomato paste and fry till oil starts to separate.
- Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder and salt and fry a little .Add boiled peas and stir to mix well with the spices.
- Add water and bring to a boil, cover and simmer on low flame for 10 minutes.
- Add fried paneer and simmer for 10 minutes more.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
- Enjoy Matar Paneer with naan's or paratha's.
